Protatch Donates to the Make-a-Wish Foundation
In 2005, Protatch owner Kevin Houtwed, gave a boat through the Make-a-Wish Foundation to Nick Hardin in Perry Park, KY. Nick was diagnosed with cancer and was not expected to live. He wanted to take his Grandfather Ronnie fishing on a ProTatch Pontoon boat. His Grandpa had polio as a child and could not walk the best so stability was the main issue.

Kevin's wife Karen and daughter Hope made the trip to KY to personally present Nick with his boat.

Very recently Nick reported that he and his Grandpa Ronnie are both doing well. They have had the time of their lives on this boat. It was great to see the happiness this boat has created for the Hardin family.
